At BarberBoss, supporting everyday heroes and giving back to our communities is an important part of who we are.
We were proud to support MenUtd at the first Barbers vs Barbers Charity Football Match, held at Walsall Football Club, bringing together barbers from across the UK for a day of football, community and fundraising.
The charity match was created to raise money and awareness for men’s mental health, supporting the important work of Samaritans. The event brought together some of the biggest names in the barbering community, alongside hundreds of supporters, and raised over £2,000 for charity.
As a British grooming brand with close connections to both barbering and football, this was a cause particularly close to BarberBoss. We were delighted to sponsor MenUtd’s football kit and play a small part in helping the barbering community come together for something bigger than the game itself.
It was a brilliant day filled with football, plenty of laughs and an important message: heroes don’t always wear capes - they’re all around us every day.
Mental health can be difficult to talk about, particularly for men. Events like Barbers vs Barbers show the power of community in starting conversations, supporting one another and raising awareness.
