BarberBoss X WBA Foundation Activation Event!

BarberBoss X WBA Foundation Activation Event!

On Saturday 14th March 2026, we joined the Albion Foundation in the Fan Zone at The Hawthorns to support an incredible cause! The Albion Foundation plays a vital role in the local community, delivering impactful programmes and supporting people to thrive both on and off the pitch. It was a true privilege to work with them, and together we created a day to remember.

Fan Zone Fun

From the moment fans started arriving, the Fan Zone had a real matchday buzz. Albion supporters filled the space with chants, music, and excitement building ahead of kick off.

At the centre of it all, BarberBoss gave fans a chance to get involved while supporting a great cause. For every new social media follow, we donated to the Albion Foundation. As a thank you, fans could spin our prize wheel, with queues forming to win everything from BarberBoss fridge magnets to electric shavers.

Around the Fan Zone, there was plenty going on to keep fans entertained. Our mascots were out in full force, stopping for photos, high fives, and plenty of laughs with supporters of all ages. A magician worked his way through the fans, pulling off tricks right in front of their eyes, drawing in curious crowds and leaving both kids and adults genuinely impressed. The whole space felt lively and full of energy!

One of the standout moments came when Albion legend Andy Johnson stepped up to have his head shaved by fellow club great Brendon Batson. Johnson  scored over 50 goals for West Brom and was part of the promotion winning side! He showed real commitment getting involved in front of the fans. On the clippers was Batson, a hugely respected figure at the club, both from his playing days and his long-standing role around the club.

It was a great moment that brought a big crowd together, all for a good cause, helping raise money for Cancer Kickers.

We also spent time chatting with fans about their pre-match rituals, one fan even swore he wears odd socks to every single game! It was very clear how much these traditions mean on matchday.

We asked for score predictions too, and the belief was strong. Hearing fans talk about what it means to support West Bromwich Albion, and sharing their favourite memories, really showed the passion and pride that comes with being part of the club.

And maybe those superstitions really did the trick… because the Baggies went on to secure a brilliant 3–0 win against Hull City. BOING BOING!

Seeing so many supporters get involved, have fun in the Fan Zone, and support such a great cause made the day even more special. And with the Baggies securing a fantastic win against Hull City, it truly was the perfect matchday.

Thanks to everyone who got involved, we’ve raised a brilliant amount so far for the Albion Foundation, and we’re still counting. We’ll be sharing the final total very soon.

We can’t wait to be back at The Hawthorns again soon.
Boing Boing!
